Trail map for the area

For those who wish to familiarize themselves with the search area, here is a dataset for Google Earth which shows the different tracks that the trail runners are using. If you have Google Earth installed, clicking on the link should be sufficient to start the application and have it zoom right in on the area:

The team started running from the airbase, on the Kealia trail (the yellow lines). The route they took, and the spot where Are presumably went missing, are explained at the bottom post of this web page.
