Update from Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (UD)

UD is consentrating their efforts on supporting the family of Are through their operative center and through their local network on Hawaii and the west coast of the mainland. Their honorary consul is of great help in coordinating the volunteer efforts as well as sharing her extensive local knowledge. The consul has managed to open up for motorized transport into the search area. We also get very good help from Jessica Lani Rich from Visitor Aloha Society of Hawaii.

UD state that norwegian authorities can not take local control over the situation in the search area, this is the job of the local autorities.
